Dr. Davi is a renowned paleoclimate scientist and professor at William Paterson University and an Adjunct Senior Research Scientist at Columbia University's Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory. Her groundbreaking research focuses on deciphering the stories told by tree rings to better understand climate variability, drought history, and tropical cyclone patterns in maritime forests. She has authored/co-authored numerous peer-reviewed papers in high-impact journals and she has authored many more published abstracts, many with students as lead authors or co-authors. Dr. Davi’s work not only advances scientific knowledge but also enhances public understanding of climate change impacts. Davi also has several projects that focus on improving science literacy for undergraduate and K-12 students.
